IMBM has in place the following committees to ensure quality growth, maintenance and seamless operations of the Institute:

The board members will meet periodically to chart progress and recommend to the IMBM Board necessary changes wherever needed.

The academic board shall have the following responsibilities:

  1. To develop and review the policies and procedures on all academic matters of IMBM including but not limited to academic quality assurance measures.
  2. To facilitate the implementation of and compliance with such policies and procedures.
  3. Develop a set of standards to ensure the academic quality of every course to be offered or provided by IMBM including but not limited to the following:
    The content of the modules or subjects of the course
    The duration of the course
    The appropriate entry and graduation requirements
  1. Approve each person to deployed to teach any course offered or provided by IMBM
  2. Review the policies and procedures periodically

The IMBM examination board performs the following functions:

  1. Regulate all policies and procedures with regard to the Courses Examinations of the IMBM including the security and moderation of examination papers and answers scripts.
  2. Facilitate the proper conduct of the examinations and assessments.
  3. Ensuring that Lecturers/Teachers follow proper assessment method and general marking guidelines.
  4. Appointment of Invigilators and providing guidelines for Invigilation.
  1. Defining the ‘model’ for the assessment method and vetting all examination papers prior to the date of the examination.
  2. Ensuring students appearing for the examinations are qualified under the rules of the Institute to take the examinations.
  3. Act as avenue for students appeal against ‘fail’ grades
  4. Conduct regular meetings to update on latest information provided by the Lecturers/Teachers on the progress of the Courses.
