The maritime industry is and will remain as a huge contributor to Singapore economy as it attracts 130,000 vessel calls on average a year while maritime industry contributes about 7% of Singapore’s Gross Domestic Profit (GDP) and to date has created over 170,000 jobs and more than 13,000 will be created in the maritime sector by 2025. Singapore had displayed great strength in ship management, ship brokering, ship chartering and ship bunkering.
